Private lessons are available for the summer session, which begins on June 19, 2018.
In addition to private lessons, the following camps and workshops will be offered this summer:
August 6 – 11, 2018; 1-4PM at Robyn Newhouse Hall (CMSS)
Free and open to the public.
NOLA Camp, led by CMSS faculty Jim Messbauer and Jeremy Turgeon will prepare middle school and high school youth from Greater Springfield to lead the Jazz & Roots Festival Second Line Parade, which ends on the main stage of the Jazz & Roots Festival. NOLA Camp, which runs daily from Monday, August 6 to Friday, August 11, includes a percussion masterclass with Berkshire Batteria on Wednesday, August 8, 4-5pm. Second Line Parade is on Saturday at 4pm. Call CMSS today to register for this free camp!
Prelude camps begin June 18 and end August 10 and are open to children ages 3 – 6.
Students may register for individual weeks or for the entire 8 weeks of the summer program.

Session II: June 25 – 29: Lego Construction Adventures
Session III: July 2 – 6: Bucket Drumming with percussionist Rick Marshall (4 days only – Closed Weds, July 4th)
Session IV: July 9 – 13: Little Artists
Session V: July 16 – 20: Suzuki Violin II with violinist Rachael Jones
Session VI: July 23 – 27 : Suzuki Violin III with violinist Rachael Jones
Session VII: July 30 – Aug 3: Future Scientists and Dinosaur Dig
