Community Music School of Springfield’s annual Spring Gala fundraiser and auction will take place on Friday, April 26th, 2019, from 6:30-9:30pm. The featured performer at this year’s Spring Gala will be Rochelle Rice, award-winning vocalist, composer and social justice champion.
This year’s CMSS Excellence Awards will honor Kristin Neville of Blues to Green / Springfield Jazz and Roots Festival and Jason Arnold, CMSS Percussion Faculty.
This event is the largest source of funding for our financial aid and scholarship program. Over the past 35 years, CMSS has raised and awarded more than $1.7 million in financial aid and scholarships. With your help, we hope to raise $70,000 this year to make high quality music education accessible and inclusive for all in our community.
There are no physical tickets for this event; we will have a list at the door.
You are now able to register for private lessons and classes, manage your account with CMSS, and more. It is our hope that this new process will ease the process of registration, payment, and billing for you and all the members of our community.
If you would like to take advantage of our early bird discount which waives the 2019-2020 registration fee of $50, you must re-register online with the new ASAP system before May 20th. Creating an account with ASAP in April will also earn families 5 entries in our “Share the Love of CMSS” raffle for a chance to win a free year of lessons!
We are committed to helping families through this transition to an online-based registration system. If you would like to use one of our computers or would like one of our registration team members to assist you in re-registering for fall 2019, please feel free to call us or visit CMSS at your convenience Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm, or Friday 8am-7pm.
